MugdarThe traditional Indian club
Swung in controlled, repeated patterns to build rotational strength, shoulder resilience and grip endurance. The foundation implement for every practitioner.
Mylapore, Chennai & Online Worldwide
A mentoring membership in Vyayam — traditional Indian strength training — for high-performing professionals who’ve built everything except the body to carry it.
The body is the doorway. Transformation is the goal.
Physical practice, approached with attention, becomes an entry point — into steadier energy, sharper focus and a more disciplined relationship with your own life. We begin with the body because that is where change can actually be felt.
Most high-performing professionals already know what to do. The gap is the distance between what you know and what you consistently live — and modern life quietly widens it every day.
Work, travel and screens have engineered movement out of the day. The body adapts to what it is asked to do — and most days, that is very little.
Constant demands pull focus in a dozen directions. Energy gets spent reacting rather than directed toward what matters.
Responsibility settles in the body as much as the mind — as tension, poor sleep and a shorter fuse.
Good intentions restart often. What’s missing isn’t willpower — it’s a structure built for a real, busy life.
Energy is not only something you have. It is something you learn to direct.
TOS Vyayam is a method of improving human performance through energy level enhancement by movement training. Vyayam traditionally means exercising to build strength — a structured, progressive Indian discipline, not a workout of the week.
Taught by a practitioner trained in Silambam, Kalaripayattu and Kushti — a genuine Indian discipline, not a themed class.
From movement quality to demanding implement work. Nothing is rushed; capability is earned in order.
Groups of ten at most, and 1:1 coaching capped by design — so every practitioner is seen.
With a mental-wellness co-practitioner alongside, physical practice becomes part of a wider transformation.
Shena Board & Mugdar — movement quality, mobility, foundational strength.
+ Gada — load, stability and coordination under greater demand.
+ Samtola — heavy lifts, raw power and full-body control.
Vyayam is practised for its physical benefits — mobility, strength, endurance and energy. It is a movement discipline, not a clinical treatment.
“I wanted to restore flexibility and strength but in a very bharathiya way, and felt this would be a good choice. The training has been fantastic — after a few months I was able to do things I never thought I was capable of. These sessions were holistic and targeted well-being.”
“Simple movements in traditional Vyayam can bring very good results if done consistently. Krishna is an extremely involved trainer — his approach is patient and considered, and he takes real interest in your fitness journey.”
“Krishna helps you break each goal down into steps you can actually take — there are no lofty promises. He’s shifted my mindset: this is a lifestyle to adapt, not a shortcut to a better physique.”
“I feel enthusiastic about attending every class, which makes me calm — and the day becomes more energetic. My favourite part of training is pranayama, which I now practise every night before bed.”
“I’ve always been interested in our traditional arts for fitness. This journey has made me aware of the importance of strength.”
“Krishna is a potential master who can inspire and live what he teaches. The lessons have brought me into surprising introspection, and his attitude — no rush for the market — is rare and appreciable.”
“Krishna brings a lot of traditional knowledge and Indic wisdom through the lens of building one’s body and mind for a larger purpose. He is the only one who has successfully instilled a workout routine I’ve stayed consistent with.”
“My sleep has gotten better, and exercises I never thought I’d manage — like sit-ups — I can now do comfortably. I never imagined I’d work out with a mugdar, but I’m glad I pushed past my comfort zone.”
“Practising the correct breathing technique has helped a lot in reducing stress. My best lesson from Vyayam was learning to use the right breathing pattern while repeating an exercise.”
You’ve built a life that asks a lot of you — and on most days, you’re running on stress rather than energy. We’ve guided 375+ people over ten years from depletion to steady strength. It begins with an honest look at where you are: seven questions, about ninety seconds.
